MANILA — Filipino book lovers, you might want to reconsider your plans for this year’s Valentine’s Day.
That’s because it was just announced this Thursday that Big Bad Wolf, the world’s largest book sale, is coming back to the Philippines and it will open on February 14.
It will return to the World Trade Center in Pasay City, and will run for 24 hours up until February 24.
Over 2 million books will be up for sale, organizers promised, with discounts ranging from 50% to as much as 90%.
They also added that they are pledging support for those affected by the Taal Volcano, through their partner Gawad Kalinga.
The Big Bad Wolf book sale has proven highly popular with Filipino book lovers, drawing an estimated 300,000 visitors during the last time it was in Manila.
The event has been in the country for a total five times, the last one in Pampanga in July 2019.
